Two SHS Students Shot Dead in Bawku-Related Attack
Two male students at Nalerigu Senior High School were shot dead in their dormitory on the evening of July 26, 2025. Local sources suggest the killings may be connected to the long‑running Bawku chieftaincy conflict, though authorities have yet to confirm a motive. What We Found The victims identified by first names—Lukman and Gideon—were reportedly shot by unknown assailants who stormed the dormitory on site and opened fire, killing both instantly. Assembly member and uncle to one of the victims confirmed the tragedy and is assisting authorities as the families work to retrieve the bodies for burial.
