Suspected Fulani militants have reportedly invaded Umeh community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, unleashing violence on residents and forcing many to flee. Community sources say the attackers have laid siege to the area for days, destroying farmlands and terrorising villagers.​ Local youth leader, Emmanuel Oko, said the militants have been moving with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically and preventing farmers from accessing their fields.
