Eddie Howe on Alexander Isak Transfer Saga: “A Lose-Lose Situation”
Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has admitted the ongoing standoff with striker Alexander Isak has left the club in a “lose-lose situation.” Isak, who wants to join Liverpool, has been training away from the first team and has not featured since Newcastle rejected a £110m bid from the Reds earlier this month. Speaking at a press conference ahead of Monday’s clash with Liverpool, Howe revealed he has not seen or spoken to the 25-year-old for a week. “It’s a lose-lose situation for everybody.
