AFCON final: Senegal accuse Morocco of sabotage ahead of clash for gold
Senegal’s Football Federation (FSF) has accused hosts Morocco of “systematic sabotage” in the build‑up to Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat, claiming a series of logistical failures have undermined the Teranga Lions’ preparations. In a strongly worded statement, the FSF alleged problems with security, hotel arrangements, training facilities and ticket allocation for Senegalese fans. The federation said the team arrived in Rabat by train from Tangier to find “a clear lack of adequate security measures”, leaving players and staff exposed to overcrowding and safety risks at the station.
