More than 110,000 people marched through central London on Saturday in a mass rally organised by far-right activist Tommy Robinson, with police deploying around 1,000 officers to manage tensions between rival demonstrations. The event, branded by Robinson as the UK’s “biggest free speech festival”, began south of Westminster before crossing Westminster Bridge and concluding near Downing Street.
