British police are assessing whether convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein trafficked women through London Stansted Airport on private flights, as part of a newly coordinated national effort to examine his ties to the United Kingdom. Essex Police said they are reviewing information that emerged from millions of pages of U.S. government documents on Epstein released at the end of January, focusing on records of private flights into and out of Stansted. UK Police Search for Asylum Seeker Freed in Error

UK police are searching for an Ethiopian asylum seeker who was mistakenly released from prison after being convicted of sexual offenses. Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, 38, was serving a one-year sentence for sexually assaulting a teenage girl and a woman. He was due to be deported but was incorrectly released due to a Prison Service error. Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the incident "totally unacceptable" and stated that the man "must be caught and deported for his crimes."
