Minority Alleges National Security Operatives Stole GH₵10,000 from Former BoG Governor
The Minority in Parliament has accused National Security operatives of engaging in unlawful activities, including theft, during a raid on the home of former Bank of Ghana (BoG) Governor, Dr. Ernest Addison. At a press conference on Thursday, March 20, 2025, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin condemned the alleged "Rambo-style" operation that occurred on Wednesday, March 19, at Dr. Addison’s residence in Roman Ridge, Accra.Afenyo-Markin claimed that during the raid, the operatives stole GH₵10,000 that was left on the former governor's bed.
