Dr. Paa Kwesi Baidoo Assumes Role as KATH CEO with Commitment to Transparent Leadership
Dr. Paa Kwesi Baidoo has officially taken over as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), pledging to lead with a "clean heart and clear mind" and to prioritize the hospital's mission over personal interests. In his inaugural address to the management team on May 7, 2025, Dr. Baidoo emphasized his dedication to enhancing the hospital's capacity to meet patient expectations and to fostering a collaborative work environment. Dr. Baidoo, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Fellow of both the West African College of Surgeons and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, previously headed KATH's Trauma and Orthopaedics Directorate and served as Chairman of the Ashanti Regional division of the Ghana Medical Association.
