MP Calls for Urgent Galamsey Fight After Crash
Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, Member of Parliament for Akim Abuakwa South, has called for a renewed and urgent national commitment to end illegal mining, locally known as galamsey, in the wake of the August 6 helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, and six others.
