Army Vows to Discipline Soldier in Ondo Driver’s Death

Emir of Zuru Dies at 81 in London Hospital

The Emir of Zuru in Kebbi State, Maj.-Gen. (rtd) Muhammadu Sani Sami, has died at the age of 81. The Kebbi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Garba Umar-Dutsinmari, confirmed the monarch’s passing in a statement on Sunday. He said the emir died on Saturday night in a London hospital after a brief illness.
