Mahama launches road project for 166 constituencies
President John Dramani Mahama has launched a nationwide road initiative that will see 166 constituencies benefit from 40 kilometres of road construction each over the next four years. The President made this known during the sod-cutting ceremony for the Dawhenya-Afienya-Dodowa Road Project in Accra on Tuesday, September 16. He explained that the selected constituencies were identified as having some of the most deteriorated road networks in the country. According to him, each constituency will receive 10 kilometres of roads, drains, and pavements every year for four years, amounting to 40 kilometres in total.
