Sowore confronts Umahi at police HQ over detained woman’s debt claim
Rights activist Omoyele Sowore has confronted Minister of Works Dave Umahi at the Federal Capital Territory Police Command in Abuja over the detention of a woman who accused the minister of owing her money. Sowore shared a video of the encounter on his X handle, saying it took place inside a conference room at the Force Headquarters. The woman, identified as Tracynither Nicolas Ohiri, has alleged that Umahi owes her N250 million for more than 12 years and also accused him of making sexual advances toward her. Ohiri is currently in police custody on allegations of cyberbullying the minister. In the footage released by Sowore, she is seen rushing toward Umahi before being restrained by people in the room.
