NAF, Ground Troops Kill 30+ Insurgents in Borno Joint Operation
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in collaboration with ground troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), has neutralised more than 30 insurgents in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State. NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed in a statement on Friday, September 5, 2025, that the joint operation followed reports of heavy terrorist engagement against friendly forces at Dar-El-Jamal village. Responding swiftly, the Air Component of OPHK launched an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission and carried out Air Interdiction (AI) strikes.
