Global Bites Contest: British Council Calls For Short Video Submissions
The British Council Digital Library has announced a call for entries for its global digital food competition, Global Bites: A Culinary Journey, ahead of this year’s World Food Day on October 16. The contest invites food lovers and cooking enthusiasts aged 18 and above to submit short, creative videos that celebrate culture through food and storytelling. Participants are expected to submit two-minute videos showcasing their favourite dishes, along with a personal story about the food, its flavour, and the culture it represents. “Food is more than flavour – it’s memory, culture and connection.
