Police continue searches after Andrew’s arrest

Russell Brand faces new rape and assault charges

British police have brought additional criminal charges against broadcaster and actor Russell Brand, including a further allegation of rape, the Metropolitan Police announced. According to investigators, the Crown Prosecution Service has approved two new charges: one count of rape and one count of sexual assault. These new allegations involve two different women and are separate from the charges already facing the comedian. Brand, who is 50, has previously pleaded not guilty to five offences. UK doctor charged with sexually assaulting 38 patients

British doctor Nathaniel John Spencer, 38, from Quinton, Birmingham, has been charged with multiple sexual offences involving 38 patients while working at major hospitals in England’s West Midlands.​ According to Staffordshire Police and the Crown Prosecution Service, he faces 15 counts of sexual assault, 17 counts of assault by penetration, nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13, three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration and one count of attempted assault by penetration, allegedly committed between 2017 and 2021 at Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke on Trent and Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley.​ He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 20 January 2026, following what police described as a detailed and complex investigation by the Public Protection Unit into reports of sexual offences at both hospitals.​ Spencer, who worked […]
