NDLEA Arrests Lagos Hotelier, Seizes 1.7 Tonnes of Cannabis

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested Lagos hotelier and notorious drug baron Frank Chijioke Ibemesi, popularly known as Chisco Bee, following a protracted surveillance effort. Ibemesi, 42, was detained early Saturday at his Daisy Garden Hotel in Isolo, Lagos, where officers led him to a warehouse containing 42 jumbo bags and four cartons of Loud cannabis, totalling 1,762.8 kg. The raid also yielded cash in multiple foreign currencies. In concurrent anti-narcotics actions, the NDLEA intercepted efforts to distribute processed skunk from Osun, confiscating 11,135 kg of cannabis and detaining seven suspects.
