World Leaders Arrive in Ethiopia for Africa Climate Summit 2025
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — World leaders, top UN officials, and global delegates have begun arriving in Addis Ababa for the second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2), scheduled for September 8–10, 2025. Themed “Accelerating Global Climate Solutions: Financing for Africa’s Resilient and Green Development”, the three-day summit will bring together heads of state, policymakers, climate experts, and civil society organisations to push a united African position ahead of the COP30 talks in Brazil next year.
