Baddy of Lagos takes first steps after surgery
Lagos-based influencer David Obadiah, popularly known as Baddy of Lagos, has shared an emotional update on his recovery, taking his first steps with a straightened leg after undergoing orthopaedic surgery in Egypt. The procedure was funded through a crowdfunding campaign launched by fellow influencer Wizarab, after Baddy appealed for help to correct a congenital condition that left his legs bowed. Doctors opted to operate on one leg at a time because of the intensity of the surgery and the demanding recovery process. In a post on his X page, Baddy shared a photo of himself walking with a crutch and thanked supporters, writing that he must fully heal from his right leg before returning to Egypt to fix the left one.
