The 13th West Africa Afro-Latin Dance Festival Nigeria, organized by Dance & Art Alive and led by celebrated innovator Buddy Doubara Agedah, concluded in Abuja with remarkable success. Dancers, diplomats, and wellness leaders enjoyed three days of vibrant performances, workshops, competitions, and community outreach. The Abuja Salsa Championship showcased top talent, with Vincent Harrison Okereke, Kenneth Ugochukwu Ifeanyichukwu, and Francis Eteng Davies winning first prize. Jos dance teams finished second and third, highlighting the festival’s growing impact in Nigeria’s northern region. Esteemed guests, including the Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria and Colombian Consular representatives, attended, underscoring the festival’s role in cultural diplomacy. Mahama to Kick Off Oti Region Campaign Tour for 2024 Elections.

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to embark on a two-day campaign tour of the Oti Region starting on October 17, 2024. During this tour, Mahama aims to engage with voters in all nine constituencies, including key areas like Guan, Jasikan, Nkwanta South, and Krachi West.The campaign will focus on smaller, community-centered events to build personal connections with the electorate. Mahama plans to reaffirm his commitment to completing stalled projects, enhancing economic growth, and addressing farmers' needs with service centers and better access to farming tools.Accompanied by national executives and MPs, Mahama will highlight key manifesto points such as fixing the economy and promoting women’s development banks and agro-processing factories. The tour is expected to stir excitement among voters in the Oti Region as the 2024 election approaches.
