New Juaben South MP Supports 5,000 Aged Constituents with ‘Shop and Go’ Initiative.
Over 5,000 elderly constituents in New Juaben South, Eastern Region, benefited from the ‘Shop and Go’ initiative led by MP Michael Okyere Baafi. The initiative, started in 2020, provides essential goods and health screenings for the aged, aiming to reduce financial burdens and foster community unity.This year, beneficiaries received food items such as yams, rice, cassava, and plantains, as well as clothing and free medical checks. MP Baafi pledged to continue this project even after leaving office, describing it as a personal duty to support the less privileged.Grateful beneficiaries praised the initiative, emphasizing its positive impact on their well-being and its role in reconnecting them with old friends.
