Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has ordered the immediate payment of salaries and outstanding entitlements to civil servants cleared by the State Staff Verification Committee. The formal submission of the committee’s report marks a major milestone after five months of a sweeping workforce audit that led to the removal of over 7,000 names due to irregular records. The governor commended the committee for its transparency and called for follow-up reviews for workers whose recruitment suffered from administrative lapses.
