Kunle Afolayan: I’ll only return to cinemas with better promo, fairer earnings

Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan says he is reluctant to return to releasing films in cinemas unless promotional demands become less exhausting and more sustainable for filmmakers.​ Speaking at the Lagos Business of Film Summit, he recalled how he was among the pioneers of the modern cinema movement in Nigeria, doing extensive publicity runs as far back as 2006, including dancing and heavy appearances in London and locally.
