NPP Condemns Alleged Death Threats and Violence by NDC Officials
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned alleged death threats and acts of violence by some officials of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against its leaders. In a statement signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP accused the NDC’s First National Vice Chairman, Chief Sofo Azorka, and Abuakwa North Constituency Communication Officer, Alhaji Abdul Wahab Amadu, of threatening Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, National Organiser Henry Nana Boakye, and Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP Frank Annor Dompreh. The party also alleged that Chief Sofo Azorka and his associates physically attacked NPP’s Third National Vice Chairman, Alhaji Osman Masawudu.
