CDS hails troops for sacrifices at Christmas
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, says Nigeria owes frontline troops an immeasurable debt of gratitude for their courage and sacrifice. He praised them for staying vigilant across various theatres of operation while citizens celebrate Christmas with their families. In a special tribute to troops, Oluyede said their discipline, professionalism and selfless service represent the finest traditions of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. He noted that they continue to confront diverse threats to the country’s peace and security at great personal risk. The CDS thanked Nigerians for their resilience, patriotism and continued support for the military despite the multiple security challenges facing the nation.
