UEFA sanctions Tottenham over fans’ Nazi gestures in Champions League tie

UEFA has sanctioned Tottenham Hotspur after three of the club’s supporters were found to have made Nazi style salutes during a Champions League away match against Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany. The European football body fined Spurs 30,000 euros for racist and discriminatory behaviour and imposed a suspended one match ban on selling away tickets in UEFA competitions. The away ticket ban will only take effect if there is a repeat offence within a one year probationary period, meaning it does not affect Tottenham’s upcoming last 16 trip to face Atletico Madrid. PSG Nantes clash moved to boost Chelsea tie

Paris Saint Germain’s Ligue 1 home match against Nantes has been moved to give the French champions more rest between their Champions League last 16 games against Chelsea.
