65-Year-Old Woman Beheaded by Nephew in Central Region
A 65-year-old woman, Madam Abena Gladys, has been brutally murdered and beheaded by her nephew in Breman-Benin, a community in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region. The suspect, identified as Kojo Sam, allegedly attacked his aunt in what witnesses described as an unprovoked and horrific assault. According to a Ghana News Agency (GNA) report, the incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, when the suspect forced his way into the victim’s room armed with a pestle.
