Police Urge NANS to Partner in Fight Against Cultism, Drug Abuse on Campuses

The Nigeria Police Force has urged the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) to deepen collaboration in tackling cultism, substance abuse, and other vices among students and youths. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Olabisi Okuwobi, made the call while receiving a NANS delegation at the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) office, Force Headquarters, Abuja, on Wednesday. The student leaders, led by NANS Executive Director of Administration and Planning, Comrade Oladimeji Uthman, visited on behalf of President Olushola Oladoja to discuss stronger cooperation with the police in addressing youth involvement in crime. Okuwobi commended NANS for its role in mobilising young people for national development.
