In Ajumako Kyebi, Central Region, a man in his late 30s, Kofi Paintsil, known locally as "Big Man," was tragically killed while demolishing a building early Friday morning. Around 5:50 a.m., the structure collapsed, with debris striking his head fatally, leaving him in a pool of blood. The incident occurred at his family home as he and his brothers prepared for their grandmother's funeral.Witnesses say that Paintsil's sister had warned him to reposition for safety after sensing danger, but he dismissed her concerns, believing he was safe from the falling rubble. Moments later, the building collapsed, and in an attempt to escape, he tripped and was fatally crushed. His body has been taken to the morgue, and the Ajumako District Police have launched an investigation.
