Popular photographer Kola Onifoto dies in Lagos bike crash
Popular Nigerian photographer and biker Orowole Kolapoz, known as Kola Onifoto, has died after a lone motorcycle crash in Lagos. The 32-year-old travel enthusiast and brand influencer was involved in the accident on Sunday during what he described as his first solo motorcycle trip outside Lagos. He had announced on Facebook that he was riding to Akure and praised bikers who travel across Nigeria, Africa and beyond. After the crash, friends said he was first taken to the Federal Road Safety Corps emergency unit at 7UP, Ojota, before being transferred to Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Idi-Araba.
