On fire Onuachu hits 17th Turkish Super Lig goal for Trabzonspor
Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has continued his red hot form in Turkey, netting his 17th league goal of the season in Trabzonspor’s 2 1 away win over Gaziantep. The 31 year old forward struck the winner in the 27th minute, reacting quickest in the box to fire home from close range and complete a first half comeback for the visitors. The hosts had taken the lead in the 22nd minute through Mohamed Bayo, but Felipe Augusto levelled for Trabzonspor just two minutes later before Onuachu’s decisive finish. The result keeps the Black Sea Storm third in the Turkish Super Lig table on 48 points, four behind second placed Fenerbahçe and seven adrift of leaders Galatasaray.
