Top Past Winners of CAF Player of the Year Award
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Player of the Year award honors Africa’s top footballers. Notable winners include Victor Osimhen (Nigeria), Mohamed Salah (Egypt), Sadio Mane (Senegal), and Ademola Lookman (Nigeria). Ghana’s Abedi Pele claimed the award three times in a row from 1991 to 1993, while Liberia’s George Weah won in 1995, later becoming the first African to lift the Ballon d’Or.
