Nollywood actors Taye Arimoro and Peggy Ovire are at the center of a controversial clash following a reported altercation during a recent movie shoot. According to Arimoro, the dispute began when he attempted to leave the set after his contracted hours ended. He alleges he was prevented from driving off, assaulted by Peggy Ovire’s team, and sustained visible injuries. Peggy Ovire countered Arimoro’s claims, stating he became aggressive after crew members asked him to finish his scenes, physically assaulting two crew members and, later, the production manager. She denied ever blocking his car, adding that Taye’s actions resulted in her driver being left bleeding. Each party accuses the other of escalating the situation, with both sustaining injuries.
