‘First-of-its-kind’ operation with local law enforcement leads to nearly 800 immigrant arrests in Florida

S Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced Saturday the agency and state law enforcement in Florida have arrested nearly 800 people over four days in a “massive, multi-agency immigration enforcement crackdown.” ICE’s office in Miami calls the “highly successful” operation “a first-of-its-kind partnership between state and federal partners.” CNN has reached out to ICE for more details about who was arrested, their legal status and the scope of the operation. Ashanti Regional Police Command demands release of soldiers involved in Nyinahin shooting

The Ashanti Regional Police is collaborating with the Central Command of the Ghana Armed Forces for the release of military officers involved in the killing of a civilian at Nyinahin, in the Atwima Mponua District of the region. Four arrested as NACOC intercepts cargo with suspected cocaine at Swiss Port 

Officials of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, intercepted a cargo being packaged for shipping at the Swiss Port. It contained concealed substances suspected to be cocaine and destined for the Netherlands. In a statement, NACOC noted that a total of 73 slabs, weighing 89.74 kg, were intercepted. Volta Regional Police intercept ammunition bound for Benin

The Volta Regional Police Command has intercepted a large cache of ammunition on a commercial bus bound for Benin. The operation occurred in the early hours of Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Tadzewu-Mitsrikasa Police barrier. According to a police statement, officers on duty conducted a routine search on a Hyundai passenger bus with registration number GR 8246-Q. The vehicle, traveling from Accra to Benin, was found to be carrying 60 cartons of AAA cartridges (15,000 pieces) and 72 cartons of BB cartridges (18,000 pieces).
