Wizkid, Asake set to drop joint EP ‘REAL (Vol. 1)’ in December
Nigerian music stars Wizkid and Asake are set to release a joint EP titled “REAL (Vol. 1)” this December, heightening excitement among Afrobeats fans. The duo teased the project with a snippet of a new track, “Jogodo”, during an appearance on Apple Music 1 with DJ Tunez, giving listeners a first taste of their latest collaboration. Asake explained that his bond with Wizkid goes beyond music, describing their relationship as genuine and deeply rooted, which he says is reflected in the energy of the new project. This is not their first time working together, as Wizkid previously featured on Asake’s track “MMS” from the 2024 album “Lungu Boy”. The upcoming EP is expected to blend Wizkid’s smooth Afropop sound with Asake’s energetic, choir driven style, creating a distinctive fusion that showcases the strengths of both artists.
