Cape Coast Building Collapse Kills 83‑Year‑Old Photographer One Day Before His Birthday
During heavy rainfall on June 21, 2025, an old two-story building near London Bridge in Cape Coast unexpectedly collapsed. The incident fatally injured Opanyin Emmanuel Ankrah (83)—affectionately known as Ankwesi—a celebrated local photographer, who tragically lost his life just one day before his 84th birthday.
