The Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu, on Tuesday held a consultative meeting with chairmen and secretaries of all registered political parties at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja. The meeting, her first official engagement with political parties since assuming office in an acting capacity, forms part of INEC’s ongoing consultations with key stakeholders ahead of the November 2025 Anambra governorship election. According to a statement by the Commission, the interactive session was aimed at fostering robust discussions with political parties on crucial issues relating to the conduct of the forthcoming election.
