GWCL to Temporarily Halt Water Supply in Amasaman District for Maintenance
The Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has announced a temporary reduction in water production at the Nsawam Treatment Plant, affecting residents in the Amasaman District.The planned maintenance work, scheduled from March 1 to March 7, 2025, aims to enhance efficiency and ensure better water supply in the future.Affected areas include Amasaman Township, Abehenease, Toman, Sapeiman, Pobiman, Obeyeyie, Daaresalam, Fise, Amanfrom, parts of Pokuase, and nearby communities.GWCL has advised residents to store sufficient water ahead of the disruption and has apologized for any inconvenience caused.
