Northern Ghana to Become West Africa’s Food Hub – Alan Kyerematen.

Alan Kyerematen, leader of the Movement for Change and an Independent Presidential candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), has revealed an ambitious plan to position Northern Ghana as the food basket of West Africa. During a tour in Tamale, he highlighted the immense potential of the five northern regions to achieve self-sufficiency and become key suppliers of food across the subregion. Kyerematen also emphasized the importance of empowering local youth with skills to boost the economy, particularly through agriculture. His development agenda focuses on enhancing agricultural infrastructure and supporting farmers with modern tools and techniques to ensure sustainable growth. Kyerematen's plan aims to elevate the northern regions and reduce socioeconomic disparities across the country.
