FG to Train 7m Youths in Digital and Tech Skills
President Bola Tinubu has announced that the federal government will train seven million young Nigerians in digital skills, with three million of them to receive advanced training in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and software development. The announcement was made in Abuja on Wednesday during the Strategic Youth Leadership Conference 2025, themed “Youth and Leadership: Building a Foundation for Sustainable Strategic Leadership.” Represented by the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, President Tinubu explained that the training will be carried out under the Nigerian Youth Academy, a platform created to build capacity and prepare youths for future leadership roles.
