Makarfi urges unity and tougher action in 2026
Former Kaduna State Governor, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, has urged Nigerians to remain united and resilient as the country enters 2026, while calling on governments at all levels to intensify efforts against insecurity and economic hardship.In his New Year message, he said 2025 severely tested citizens’ patience amid rising economic pressure, insecurity and widespread uncertainty across the country.He noted that the New Year offers a chance to renew collective resolve and confront national challenges together.
