The Western Regional Minister, Kobby Otchere Darko Mensah, has announced plans to turn the Kejebil/Apowa road in Ahanta West District into a Free Zone, further enhancing the region’s industrial capacity. Speaking at the inauguration of a state-of-the-art chemical blending and storage facility built by 2EN Chemicals Limited, the minister highlighted how this initiative aligns with Ghana’s industrial development goals. The 15-tonne facility, a joint venture by Eco Natural Resources Limited and Ensol Energy Ghana Limited, is expected to significantly boost the extractive industry, particularly the upstream sector, while reducing the country’s reliance on imports.This facility marks a strategic collaboration between two Ghanaian businesses, demonstrating how local partnerships can drive value addition and position Ghana as a key player in the global supply chain.
