Adamawa ADC gets harmonised executives after prolonged crisis

The Adamawa State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated a new harmonised Executive Council after months of bitter leadership crisis and parallel factions. Party leaders say the new line‑up is the product of an internal reconciliation process aimed at restoring unity and ending rancour in the state chapter.​ The new exco has Yohannah Shehu as chairman, Mohammed Suleiman as deputy chairman, Zubairu Ishaq as secretary and Japhet Pamassa as assistant secretary. Presidency rejects claim of secret tax law changes

The Presidency has rejected allegations that it secretly altered provisions of Nigeria’s new tax reform laws, insisting that no changes were made outside the proper legal and legislative process.
