Trump vows tariffs on eight European nations over Greenland
US President Donald Trump has vowed to impose escalating tariffs on eight European countries in a bid to pressure Denmark into allowing the United States to purchase Greenland. In a Truth Social post, he announced that a 10 percent tariff on all goods from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Finland will begin on February 1.
