The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) executed precision airstrikes on November 14, 2025, targeting a major terrorist stronghold and logistics hub in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance identified the Sauri bandit camp as both a defensive shelter and logistics base, used to hide rustled livestock and support armed groups.
NAF aircraft conducted multiple strike passes, destroying hideouts and logistics facilities, and neutralising numerous terrorists who tried to escape into surrounding vegetation. Post-operation assessments confirmed critical structures, supply resources, and several fighters were eliminated, crippling the group’s operational capacity.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, NAF spokesperson, said the successful operation reaffirms the commitment of Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke’s directive to “find them, hunt them down, and protect our people.” The strikes reflect ongoing counterterrorism efforts to deny bandits safe havens and restore peace and stability across Zamfara and Nigeria’s northwest.
