Manchester City boosted their Premier League title push with a commanding 3 0 victory away to Crystal Palace, narrowing Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table to just two points. Pep Guardiola’s side took full advantage of the chance to pile pressure on the Gunners with a clinical display in south London.
City controlled possession for long spells and repeatedly stretched Palace with their movement and passing. The visitors’ pressure eventually told as they found the breakthrough and then added further goals to put the contest beyond doubt before full time.
The result means Arsenal remain on 36 points from 16 matches, with City now on 34 points after recording their 11th league win of the season. Aston Villa, Chelsea and Crystal Palace follow in the chasing pack, keeping the top half of the table highly competitive.
Guardiola hailed the performance as one of City’s best of the campaign, praising his players’ focus, intensity and game management away from home. The win also extends City’s strong recent form, having already beaten Sunderland and produced a big Champions League result against Real Madrid earlier in the week.
For Palace, the defeat ends a solid run that had kept them firmly in the hunt for European places. They stay on 26 points and will look to regroup quickly as the fixtures continue to come thick and fast over the festive schedule.

Relief for ADC, AP as Appeal Court stops deregistration order
Several opposition political parties, including the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Accord Party (AP), have secured temporary relief after the Court of Appeal halted the enforcement of a Federal High Court judgment ordering their deregistration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Earlier in the week, Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court in Abuja had ordered INEC to deregister ADC, Accord, Action Alliance (AA), Action Peoples Party (APP) and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) for failing to meet the constitutional thresholds required to remain on the register of political parties. The trial court held that the parties breached Section 225A of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), which empowers INEC to deregister political parties that fail to win any elective seat or secure at least 25 per cent of the votes in relevant elections at federal, state or local government […]

Minaj explained that she was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, which meant the last service she could attend would be on Sunday, making regular church attendance difficult. She emphasized that she stopped going to church not because she didn't want to go or did not believe, but because her busy schedule made it impossible to attend consistently. Minaj said she still wanted to go to church during those years, but the demands of her career and the timing of her work commitments prevented her from attending regularly. France seek to banish 2002 ghost against Senegal’s Teranga Lions in New Jersey
France will face Senegal's Lions of Teranga at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on June 16 in a Group I match that brings back memories of one of the greatest World Cup upsets in history. The fixture immediately conjures the ghost of Seoul, where Senegal shocked the world by beating then-champion France 1-0 in their opening match at the 2002 World Cup. In the 30th minute of that match, Papa Bouba Diop scored after meeting El Hadji Diouf's cut-back, ripping off his shirt and sprinting to the corner flag as his teammates celebrated in a circle of pure joy. Senegal held firm for the 1-0 victory, and France went home in disgrace without scoring a single goal across the entire group stage. That night not only eliminated the holders but also rewrote the Senegalese football psyche, marking the start of […]
