Ghanaian international footballer Joseph Paintsil is set to release his debut EP titled Emergency on April 4, 2025. The 7-track EP is a testament to Paintsil’s passion for music, which he has cultivated during his downtime from football. Although football remains his primary focus, Paintsil’s musical journey shows his versatility and his desire to explore new talents off the pitch.

The EP features a mix of genres and includes tracks such as Blessings, Nobody, Rejoice, Monalisa, Fine Like You, Higher (featuring Kweku Flick), and Merci Beaucoup (featuring Kweku Flick and Joekay). Paintsil worked on the project during his injury recovery, making use of his free time after training.

Expressing his excitement, Paintsil shared, “Football will always be my first love, but I also love music, and I do it in my leisure time. I hope everyone enjoys it.” Fans can expect an energetic and heartfelt collection of songs that reflect his authentic personality.
