BNXN & Fola Deliver Emotional Depth on “Very Soon”

BNXN returns in 2025 with his second single of the year — this time teaming up with rising star Fola on the soul-stirring track “Very Soon.”

This new release follows their successful collaboration on the remix of Fola’s hit song “Alone,” and proves that their musical chemistry remains as strong as ever.

From the opening lines, the song sets a reflective and emotional tone, drawing listeners into a world of love, hope, and vulnerability.

A Soulful Start That Sets the Mood

The track opens with Fola’s soothing vocals:

“Ero bi mase para o je kin sun
Very very soon
I’ll do it better and I promise you…”

His melodic delivery brings an immediate sense of calm and intimacy. The intro blends beautifully into BNXN’s verse, where he sings about devotion and reassurance in a relationship:

“Dub ni
You no suppose let me go if you love me
Girl, you for let me show you love ni…”

These lyrics carry a romantic sincerity that fans of modern Afro-soul will instantly connect with.

The mood is laid-back yet emotionally rich — perfect for moments of reflection or late-night listening.

Heartfelt Lyrics and Strong Vocal Chemistry

“Very Soon” shines through its honest lyricism and emotional authenticity . Both artists explore themes of love, commitment, and personal growth, making the song deeply relatable.

Fola delivers a standout performance on the chorus, blending power and sensitivity in a way that cements his place among Nigeria’s most promising vocalists in 2025.

BNXN complements him perfectly, showing both artistic maturity and emotional depth — building on the momentum from his earlier 2025 single “Cutesy” .

What makes this track special is how naturally the two artists feed off each other — not just musically, but emotionally. This isn’t just a feature — it’s a true collaboration.

What This Means for BNXN’s Captain Album

“Very Soon” is part of BNXN’s lead-up to his highly anticipated album Captain , set to drop July 3, 2025 .

Fans can expect more emotional depth and genre-blending artistry across the project, including collaborations with artists like Rema on tracks such as “Fi Kan We Kan” and “Phenomena.”

With “Very Soon,” BNXN continues to evolve as an artist, proving he’s not afraid to explore softer, more introspective sounds while staying rooted in Afro-fusion.

Final Thoughts: A Must-Listen Track

“Very Soon” is more than just a song — it’s a moment. A quiet, beautiful reminder of music’s power to connect hearts and heal souls.

Whether you’re a fan of Afro-soul, R&B, or just good music, this one deserves a spot on your playlist.

Ban on sale of sachet alcoholic drinks remains – NAFDAC

NAFDAC says the crackdown on manufacturers and distributors of sachet alcohol has already begun, with arrests and seizures recorded across the South East zone. The NAFDAC Zonal Director, South East, Dr Festus Ukadike, disclosed this in an interview in Enugu, adding that the next phase is to mop up remaining sachet alcoholic products still in the market. He stressed that businesses would not be adversely affected because companies can still produce alcohol in bottles of 200ml and above. According to Ukadike, the health of children was a major factor behind the ban, as sachet alcohol has fueled unhealthy drinking habits among young children and contributed to antisocial behaviour and disease risks. He urged consumers to control their alcohol intake, saying public health considerations outweigh commercial interests and affordability concerns. NAFDAC expects that within 12 months, Nigeria will have a standard […]

Chairman Ambassador Ismail Abba Yussuf disclosed the position after briefing government officials at the State House, Abuja, on reforms proposed by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. He explained that Nigeria’s Hajj has for decades been coordinated through NAHCON and State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, making a sudden switch to a predominantly private model both operationally and economically challenging. According to a statement by the Office of the Vice President, Yussuf said an immediate adoption could undermine existing government‑to‑government agreements with Saudi Arabia, disrupt established processes, weaken the statutory roles of state boards and hurt the affordability and accessibility of Hajj for ordinary Nigerians. He stressed that the commission is not […]
