Gloria Jemedafe celebrates Christmas with indigent children in Lagos

On Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, Nollywood actress Gloria Jemedafe marked the festivities by celebrating with indigent children in Lagos. The event took place at Government College Senior, Eric Moore, Surulere, where dozens of children spent the day socialising and having fun with the actress.​ The outreach was organised by her NGO, The Rewrite Nigeria Development Initiative, in partnership with Ijora Badia community group The White Sand. Nigerian Army warns public about fake social media accounts impersonating COAS

The Nigerian Army has warned the public about fake social media accounts created by fraudsters claiming to represent the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu. The alert was issued in a statement on Friday by Army spokesperson Colonel Apollonia Anele.​ Anele clarified that the Chief of Army Staff does not operate any official social media account on any platform.
