AGN applauds Okpebholo for appointing Mercy Johnson as adviser
The Actors Guild of Nigeria has praised Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo for appointing Nollywood star Mercy Johnson Okojie as Special Adviser on Public Engagement and Advocacy. The guild described the move as a recognition of the creative industry’s value and the influence of actors in shaping public opinion. In its reaction, the AGN said Johnson Okojie’s experience, popularity and strong connection with ordinary Nigerians make her a good choice for the role. It expressed confidence that she will use her new position to promote positive engagement between government and citizens.
