Two Injured in Lartebiokorshie Warehouse Fire
Two people sustained injuries while attempting to put out a fire that engulfed a warehouse at Lartebiokorshie in Accra, according to the Greater Accra Regional Fire Officer, ACFO II Rashid Kwame Nisawu. He explained that one firefighter and a civilian fell from the top of the burning structure during the operation. Both victims received emergency treatment on-site from ambulance personnel before being rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. They have since been treated and discharged, with the Accra Metro Fire Commander confirming that they are in stable condition. The inferno has been brought largely under control, though small pockets of fire remain inside the warehouse.
